Fujifilm today announces that it will use InPrint 2016 in Milan, Italy, to showcase a range of FUJIFILM Inkjet Technology solutions for the industrial print market. Products to be featured on the stand include SAMBA™ piezo-electric printheads, proprietary UV, aqueous and hybrid inks as well as world-class software and systems integration expertise that have led to Fujifilm fast becoming the supplier of choice for manufacturing partners and innovators right across the industry.

The stand will host a number of live demonstrations across the three days of the show. These will include high speed roll-to-roll purpose-built test platforms producing samples using both a Fujifilm SAMBA™ print engine with LED-UV inks and a StarFire™ SG1024 print engine with aqueous inks. These demonstrations will highlight how Fujifilm inkjet technologies can be fully integrated for high performance, high productivity industrial and packaging applications to produce outstanding results.

Fujifilm will also showcase the newly launched Dimatix Material Printer DMP-2850 engineered to more effectively serve R&D customers with improved cameras, more intuitive application software, and provision for automated data collection and analysis. The DMP-2850 includes an embedded 64-bit PC pre-configured withMicrosoftWindows 8.1 and updated Drop Manager software. Two high-speed cameras with finer resolution optics provide superior images for drop watching and print inspection functions. To accompany the hardware changes, the DMP-2850 features improved accessibility and flexibility with an enhanced software platform. A remote access API and open architecture enables remote monitoring of cameras and printer status. More options for complex printing applications will be available with feature recognition, auto registration functions, and support for multi-layer printing. Jetting evaluation and drop watching operations will also benefit from automated analysis.

Finally, to demonstrate Fujifilm’s integrated technology in action, the market leading Acuity LED 1600 II UV hybrid wide format inkjet printer will be running live demonstrations on the stand. The Acuity LED 1600 II offers industrial printers an unmatched ability to deliver a wide range of high quality print applications on flexible and rigid materials, including display graphics, signage, decals, environmental graphics and package prototypes. The printer uses Fujifilm printheads that are precise, fast and have a track record of long life in print production. The platform‘s ability to print six ink colours plus opaque white and high gloss varnish also set it apart.
