Sun Chemical at FESPA

As Sun Chemical's PR agency for Europe, AD Communications was briefed to create an impactful integrated communication campaign for their presence at FESPA 2013 for the first time. They key objective was to raise the profile of Sun Chemical as a customer ‘solutions’ brand by promoting its capability across printing processes to FESPA’s visitor audience. In the run up to the show, AD organised a series of creative commercial activities across five European geographies (UK, Italy, Germany, France and Austria). We also generated and syndicated a Sun Chemical thought leadership feature on aftermarket inks across targeted trade titles including FESPA’s website to drive visitors to the Sun Chemical stand at the show. A high quality printed customer publication crammed with case studies and articles created by AD was handed out on the stand. Sun Chemicals aviation themed stand, which reflected the destination theme of the show, attracted visitors from over 31 countries worldwide, 46% of which were new customers. Over 11 journalist meetings were successfully set up, directly resulting in positive press coverage. Tony Cox, Business Manager, Sun Chemical said it was “The best show we’ve ever had.”
