FESPA wanted to mark the 10-year anniversary of its CEO joining the business. Having been steeped in the speciality print industry for more than a decade, and making many global connections in that time, we suggested that Neil Felton interview other industry veterans and share experiences that would resonate with the audience.
By doing this, FESPA would give more public ‘face time’ to the head of the business, demonstrate its international network, and show that FESPA is continually engaging with the very people at the heart of the print community – print producers.
We needed to conduct video interviews in Canada, Australia and Italy, but the interviewer was in London. So, we used the tools that everyone has at their disposal – smart phones and laptops, rather than relying on poor-quality video conferencing recordings. With smart preparation, the result was almost as if they were in the same room.
