High-quality video production fuels virtual event

As in-person events pivoted to virtual during the pandemic, the reliance on video content intensified. But, unlike webinar presentations recorded on video conference platforms with grainy visuals and poor audio, Canon was determined to make it’s 2021 customer event high-quality and uncompromisingly professional.

We mapped the content that would form the core of the ‘Make It’ event with Canon – from motivational and inspirational keynote addresses, to fireside chats and presentations. We then planned a week-long shoot and directed each piece of video content.

Tight turnaround times meant we directed the shoot on-site while simultaneously directing the editing team. As the shoot wrapped each day, the footage was shared with the studio and edited the next day. In total more than 40 videos were produced, with the majority completed within two weeks.

In addition to scripting, directing and editing video content, we managed keynote speaker research and wrote and designed a 16-page post-event magazine that highlighted the key themes for those unable to join.
