Kongsberg Precision Cutting Systems (PCS) and Parksons Packaging are marking 25 years of partnership. The company was the first in the region to invest in a digital cutting table from Kongsberg PCS in 2001, playing an important role in demonstrating the value of digital cutting technology to the wider Indian packaging industry.

Parksons Packaging is one of India’s leading packaging companies, specializing in folding cartons and specialized board packaging for liquid packs and customized rigid boxes, across markets including FMCG, pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, and healthcare. Founded in 1996, the company has developed into a major folding carton packaging provider, with a focus on innovation, sustainability and advanced printing technologies.

Parksons Packaging’s early adoption of the technology helped accelerate packaging development and sample production, while giving its teams greater production efficiencies and supporting the company’s continued growth. Since then, the company has invested in seven further tables across eight locations.

Over the past 25 years, the relationship has evolved from a traditional supplier and customer arrangement to a partnership. Kongsberg PCS’s digital cutting technology, supported by the company’s service and technical expertise, has helped Parksons Packaging to improve productivity, respond to changing customer requirements, diversify its offering, and bring packaging concepts to market faster.
