The FESPA Awards 2020 are now open to print service providers (PSPs) and sign-makers looking to highlight their outstanding examples of print.

Domino Digital Printing Solutions will be demonstrating the highly productive capabilities of its K600i digital UV ink jet printer at Labelexpo Europe 2019 (Hall 9, booths 9A60 and 9B50, 24 – 27 September 2019, Brussels Expo). The 445mm wide dual bar, high speed K600i will be integrated with an ABG Omega SRI (slitter, rewinder and inspection unit) and will be printing 100% verified, high resolution, machine readable codes onto die-cut labels.

Fujifilm has now addressed this problem head on by offering its comprehensive XMF Workflow solution as a subscription service rather than an up-front purchase. European Sign Expo 2019, the dedicated event for non-printed signage and visual communications has continued its year-on-year growth achieving record visitor numbers to its seventh edition, which took place in Munich, Germany from 14 to 17 May.

Lintec has announced the introduction of an oil-tolerant labelstock range. The range comprises three products: 0T8060 white polypropylene film, 0T5040 white polyester and OT5050 clear polyester film. The labelstocks feature a strong oil-absorbing adhesive that allows labels to be easily applied to oily surfaces and substrates that would typically need to be cleaned before application.

Building on the success of Fujifilm’s highly successful multi-purpose OW ink range, the Uvijet OX ink will initially be available as a six colour CMYK Lc Lm set, and will enable the new Onset X HS to print on an extensive range of rigid plastic media at high speed with maximum adhesion, cure speed and quality; helping to open up new markets for this range of printers.
