Wexham Springs, UK – 05 April 2018: Under the umbrella theme of “Brighter Ideas”, Sun Chemical will present on Stand D20, Hall 2.2 at FESPA 2018 (15-18 May in Berlin, Germany) its comprehensive portfolio of world-class inks and compatible technologies for multiple applications across the graphics, textile and industrial markets.

Brett Martin, a specialist in the production of plastic products for the print, display and signage sectors, will be displaying its leading Foamalux Foam PVC and extensive transparent sheet ranges at FESPA 2018 (Stand 1.1 B39, 15^th-18^th May, Berlin). The world’s largest wide format event will provide the plastic sheet manufacturer with the ideal platform to demonstrate the quality and performance of its applications.

Tübingen (22 March 2018) – Color management experts GMG have further expanded their plugin for Adobe Photoshop in Version 1.3. Now color accurate separations from RGB into Multicolor color spaces are possible with up to seven colors. This is based on GMG OpenColor separation profiles. GMG product manager Peter Schöffler explains: “By using separation with the ChannelExtender, image data can be flexibly adapted to the printing process used.” The conversion can be switched on or off at any stage during image processing. This way the final result can be directly simulate at any stage of processing. A further innovation: The ColorBoost function makes images more saturated and vivid.

At FESPA Global Print Expo 2018 (Berlin, May 15^th-18^th), Fujifilm will use its stand (D50 in Hall 2.2) to focus on two new high end platforms. The first is the new Acuity B1 modular system, previewed at FESPA 2017, and the second a ground-breaking new platform to be announced in April. Additionally, as part of the new FESPA Digital Corrugated Experience and in conjunction with Inca Digital, Fujifilm will showcase the huge potential of the Onset X platform for the production of corrugated displays and packaging on stand C30 in Hall 5.2.

Istanbul-based Maggenta, a leading printer of custom-made wallpapers for businesses and individuals around the world, was founded in 2010. The company prints high-quality, emission-compliant, environmentally-friendly wallpaper using a Fujifilm Acuity LED 1600 II. Having invested in an Acuity LED 1600 in 2014, Maggenta upgraded to the Acuity LED 1600 II in February 2018, boosting production speed by 50% and bringing in added versatility. With this recent investment, Maggenta, once a latex print specialist, has ceased all latex print for wall coverings.

FESPA has confirmed the lineup of expert speakers for the Digital Corrugated Experience conference, which will take place at FESPA Global Print Expo 2018 from 15 to 18 May at the Messe Berlin, Germany.

LINTEC EUROPE will use FESPA GLOBAL PRINT EXPO 2018 (15^th – 18^th May, Messe Berlin, Hall 6.2, Stand A10) to raise awareness of sustainable manufacturing practices within the graphic, print and visual communication industries. Among the products to be featured on the company’s stand will be Re-Pop RE505S RECYCLED, a clear, lightweight, dry apply film aimed at the POS and retail markets for short-term promotional campaigns. Re-Pop is Lintec’s first film to be manufactured with a minimum of 80% recycled PET material.

Tübingen (March 15, 2018) – GMG and Global Graphics Software announce a technology partnership that will overcome the color management and quality issues often found in digital packaging and label production. The partnership will make GMG’s award-winning technology available within Fundamentals, Global Graphics Software’s toolkit for building a digital front-end for inkjet presses. Fundamentals is a software and engineering services package that helps inkjet press manufacturers get to market quicker.
