Cleaner, faster, safer: Berry Global eliminates static issues with Meech’s Hyperion products

Customer open-house event showcases Derwent Displays’ investment in two Inca Digital Onset X platforms from Fujifilm

Derwent Displays has hailed as a great success, a customer open-house event at its factory in Derbyshire, UK. The event on 14th September showcased the latest phase of the company’s successful partnership with Fujifilm and the huge range of possibilities provided by its investment in two Inca Digital Onset X platforms in the past two years. In particular, the event highlighted the range of short-run and personalised work that can now be rapidly and reliably turned around without any compromise to quality.

Meech to display new product for Hyperion product range at PACK EXPO International 2018

Meech International will be presenting SmartControl – the newest addition to its Hyperion range at PACK EXPO 2018 (stand E-7407, October 14 – 17th, McCormick Place, Chicago, USA). The range’s static control bars (971IPS-15, 971IPS-30, 929IPS, 924IPS), will also be present alongside Meech’s Hyperion 233v4 Pulsed DC Controller, the Hyperion BarMaster programmer, IML generation equipment, and the CyCleanTM non-contact web cleaning system.

Founded in 1925, it has continually invested in new technologies over the years and now produces cardboard packaging and display units for a huge range of customers in a variety of sectors, from cosmetics, to food, jewellery and tourism.

Tofflon eliminates ampoule bottle static issues with Meech’s 976 Mini DC bar

A leader in manufacturing equipment for the pharmaceutical and biotech industries, Shanghai-based Tofflon Science and Technology Co. serves nearly 2000 pharmaceutical companies in 40 countries. At the heart of the Tofflon offering is the autoloading and barrier systems and vial and ampoule filling lines. One issue consistently raised by customers involves medicinal bottles that generate static, through friction, while travelling along the conveyor line. Aside from well-known issues around product cleanliness, these static charges can also impact sensitive electronic weighing systems where very precise measurements are needed, as well as threatening the safety of operators. Tofflon has addressed these issues by installing Meech’s 976 Mini and 915 antistatic bar.

Domino to showcase Digital Printing Solutions at ALL4PACK 2018

Domino Digital Printing Solutions will be demonstrating two of its ink jet printing solutions on Stand G 152 in Hall 6 at ALL4PACK 2018, taking place at Paris-Nord Villepinte from 26th – 29th November. KL Druck invests in a Fujifilm Jet Press 720S to meet changing PoS requirements

Based in Bergisch Gladbach, Germany, KL Druck has a proud 120-year heritage and specialises in producing point of sale and out-of-home products for a range of high-profile global brands, including Audi, Adidas, Lindt and Primark. A screen printing pioneer in the years following the Second World War, the company began investing heavily in digital print technology around 20 years ago. Its latest investment, the Fujifilm Jet Press 720S, began operation in August 2018.
