FUJIFILM Europe GmbH today announces the expansion of its Apeos multifunction printer series (MFPs) and single-function printers (SFPs) into the Czech Republic and Switzerland, bringing the range to more than 10 European markets. The Apeos range will be distributed through local partners, including SPIN Servis s.r.o. in the Czech Republic, with sales beginning in both markets on 2nd November.
The launch continues Fujifilm’s European rollout, which began in the UK and Italy in 2024, followed by France, Spain, Poland, Slovenia, the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg.
Developed by FUJIFILM Business Innovation Corp. of Japan, a leader in A3 multifunction printing solutions across the Asia-Pacific region[1], the Apeos range draws on more than 60 years of office printing technology development. The portfolio includes A3 and A4 multifunction printers alongside A4 single-function models, offering organisations across multiple sectors – including healthcare, finance, legal services, education and manufacturing – a choice of colour and monochrome equipment for everyday printing, with multifunction models also supporting paper-record digitisation and security features helping to control access to sensitive information.
Czech Republic
In the Czech Republic, the launch extends SPIN Servis’s existing relationship with Fujifilm into office printing. The company became a Fujifilm production print partner in 2023 and supplies and services both office and production printing equipment.
“Adding Apeos is a natural next step in our relationship with Fujifilm, which began with production printing in 2023,” says Kamil Bednar, Director, SPIN Servis s.r.o. “It gives us a wider choice of multifunction printers for customers looking to manage costs or simply replace equipment that no longer meets their needs. We can support them from choosing and installing a device through to servicing it throughout its working life. We are pleased to partner with Fujifilm to bring Apeos to our customers.”
Switzerland
“We’re delighted to bring Apeos to Switzerland and introduce more businesses to Fujifilm’s office printing technology,” says Hiroaki Matsui, Senior Channel Sales Manager, Fujifilm Europe. “There’s a lot for customers to consider when investing in new equipment, from running costs to security and how it will work with their existing systems. We believe the Apeos range has a great deal to offer, and we’re looking forward to showing businesses what it can do for them, backed by our expertise and support.”
Apeos range special features for automation, security and power management
Within the portfolio, the new Apeos C3567 and C3061 series continue to offer ScanAuto – a feature that automatically selects settings such as document orientation and colour mode, removes blank pages and sends scanned files to an email address or PC. Their single-pass duplex scanners capture both sides of a document in one pass, at speeds of up to 160 pages per minute for the C3567 series and 80 pages per minute for the C3061 series. These functions help digitise client records, signed forms or delivery paperwork with fewer manual settings.
Both series allow administrators to restrict access to the device and its functions through user authentication and access controls. AES-256 encryption protects data written to the device’s SSD, while TLS and IPsec protect data sent over the network. These features help protect confidential information across a wide range of business activities, from handling patient and client records to sharing financial, personnel and operational documents[2].
The Apeos C3567 and C3061 series use Fujifilm’s new toner, ELFEAT[3], which fixes to paper at a temperature 15°C lower than the EA-Eco toner used in the Apeos C3060, C2560 and C2060 models. Their Smart Power Saving function supplies power only to the components needed for the task being performed. Both series also support Pages per Side printing, which combines several document pages on one sheet, and offer optional staple-free finishing to bind documents without metal staples.
“Reaching more than 10 European markets is a milestone we’re really proud of and our local partners are helping us take that next step,” says Matthew Wrighton, Head of Device Technology and Partner Development, Fujifilm Europe. “They know their customers and can help us understand what those businesses need from their printers. Across healthcare, finance, legal services, education and manufacturing, organisations need to keep information secure and manage costs, but their printing and scanning requirements can be very different. With Apeos, customers have a choice of print formats, speeds and configurations to suit the way they work. We’re very pleased to bring that choice to the Czech Republic and Switzerland, with local partners to support customers from the outset.”
