Belfast-based print and signage consumables supplier, Alphagraphics, has recently celebrated its 30^th anniversary by introducing the Acuity LED UV printer range to the Irish market. Originally conceived as a litho ink distributor, Alphagraphics has steadily expanded its portfolio over the subsequent three decades and – keen to tap into the hardware needs of its ever growing wide-format consumables market – the company has invested in its own Acuity LED 1600 II to provide in-house demonstrations.

Signbox has printed and installed 39 graphic artworks at new Cardinia Real Estate UK properties in London. Previously home to RBS, the two adjacent buildings on the Southbank now house a leading marketing communications firm and needed an injection of colour and character to reflect the ethos of the new occupants. Cardinia Real Estate UK worked in collaboration with a number of artists, and with signage and display specialist Signbox, to transform the buildings with colourful and distinctive artwork displays throughout.

FESPA has published the framework programme for the Trends Theatre at FESPA Global Print Expo 2018, which takes place from 15 – 18 May 2018 at Messe Berlin, Germany.

Fujifilm today announces the release of a new machine in its Acuity series, the Acuity LED 1600R. This accessible, dedicated roll-to-roll printer is optimised for four-colour CYMK printing, but otherwise shares all the benefits in quality and performance of the highly successful Acuity LED 1600 II hybrid model. The first public demonstration of this new model will take place at C!Print Lyon 6^th-8^th February 2018 on the Fujifilm stand (2L36). It will be commercially available on the 1^st of March.

FESPA has expanded its three-strong team in Mexico with the appointment of Benjamin De La Grana as Sales and Marketing Manager. In the newly-created position, Benjamin will spearhead FESPA’s growth strategy in the region, with responsibility for sales and marketing for the annual FESPA Mexico exhibition, as well as other future FESPA initiatives.
